Clandestine

The second painting which featured as an album cover for the band Entombed. The twisted exposed tree roots were inspired by a walk i used to take near 'Farnsfield' in the U.K. There was a path that had been cut by water that would drain down a hill, creating a submerged gully exposing the earth and the tree roots on each side. The working title for this painting is 'Birthing Hollow'.
